A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief goal is to start the Dodge engine.
The alternator supplies power for the car once the engine is running.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a complete discharge.
